Today we’d like to introduce you to Rebecca Irey.

Hi Rebecca, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I didn’t grow up planning to be in finance—I grew up watching what happens when people don’t know the rules of money. I grew up in the time of Farm Aid in the 80s, but Farm Aid didn’t work for us. We lost a the land my family had worked for the last four generations. Overnight, the life we knew disappeared. I remember the confusion, the fear, and the feeling that the adults around me had been playing a game no one had ever taught them how to win. That experience shaped me more than any class or credential ever could.

I decided early on that I would dedicate my life to making sure other families never felt that powerless. I wanted people to know not only the rules of money, but how to win with them—how to protect what they’ve worked for, how to build security, and how to create choices for the future instead of limits.

That calling became Blue Skye Financial. Today I have the privilege of working with individuals and families across the country, with a special focus on women and wealth. I’ve seen too many brilliant, capable women left out of financial conversations or made to feel like money isn’t “their language.” My mission is to change that—to translate complex strategies into clear plans, to replace fear with confidence, and to help women step fully into financial independence.

Every client I serve is a reminder of that little girl on the ranch who wished someone had explained the game. I can’t change my family’s story, but I can help others write a better one—and that is the work I’m honored to do every day.
